Defining the Nanometer

Light is measured in nanometers from one peak of a wavelength to another (1 unit = 1 billionth of a meter). Only a portion of this spectrum of light is proven to be therapeutic and is utilized in light therapy. This is between 600 - 1100nm (nanometers), which includes red and infrared light.

What is the size of the LED Bed and the voltage requirements?

LightStim LED Bed Pro is 86″ in length including the headrest, 40″ in width and 18″ in height. LightStim LED Bed Core is 86″ in length including the headrest, 34″ in width and 18″ in height. We recommend a room approximately 6′ x 8′ or larger. LED Bed uses approximately the same amount of energy as a hair dryer or clothes iron. The voltage is 100-240v and it uses a standard US outlet.

What is the LED Bed treatment time?

LightStim LED Bed is FDA Cleared for a treatment time of 5 to 30 minutes. We recommend 20 minutes on each side of the body for maximum benefits.

Is LightStim LED Bed a touchless treatment?

The LightStim LED Bed has the advantage of not requiring anyone to deliver the treatment. It incorporates an easy to use control panel with a fully programmable timer allowing for a touchless, wellness-based treatment that can be self-administered.
